This Double Storey Corner Lot at Taman Serimbun is designed around a core concept of modernity and clean efficiency. The aesthetic is defined by bright colors and sharp, custom-cut cabinetry, emphasizing organization and sophisticated design elements, particularly in the master suite.
Foyer & Living: Visualizing Space and Entertainment

The interior begins with a bright, clean welcome. A full-height foyer cabinet is proposed along the entrance wall, offering flexibility with open and closed storage that promotes an organized, clean look. The floating effect of the cabinet adds airiness and facilitates easy maintenance. Different ceiling designs subtly mark the seamless transition from the foyer to the living area.
In the living space, drapery day and night curtains soften the environment, providing a modern feel. A huge L-shaped sofa anchors the area, accommodating leisure activities and guests. Family entertainment is centralized around a large marble-like feature wall backing and a grounded console cabinet. The layering of the console adds dimension and breaks the geometric repetition, reinforcing the modern intention.
Wet & Dry Kitchen: Light and Functional Flow

The residence features both wet and dry kitchens, unified by light color laminate for both top and bottom cabinetry, creating a spacious and inviting visual. The close proximity between the two areas optimizes the daily circulation. In the dry kitchen, a tall cabinet with open storage on the left draws the eye, and the built-in microwave and fridge are designed to be flush, avoiding any sense of bulk or clutter.

A sliding glass door separates the wet kitchen without obstructing the view, offering visual awareness when the kitchen is occupied. The wet kitchen utilizes soft grey tiles as a durable and easy-to-maintain backsplash, while a big water sink provides ample space for utensils handling.
Working Hall: Focused Efficiency
On the first floor, a minimal working station is created to meet the owner’s requirement. This small, dedicated space features a custom study table and top cabinet. The natural daylight from the existing window enhances the working experience, and the combination of open and closed storage provides ideal priority storage for the owner.

Master Bedroom: Textural Sophistication and Hotel Vibe
The master bedroom exudes a modern and sophisticated ambiance through the extension of textured grey paint, designed to promote better sleep. The dresser and bedhead are seamlessly attached together to maximize the area and ensure visual organization.

A key feature is the hidden walk-in wardrobe, cleverly integrated behind a fluted hidden door, creating a smooth transition between the bed and dressing area. Inside, a full-height glass and enclosed casement wardrobe uses the transparent material to create a spacious effect, avoiding a crowded atmosphere. Layered shelving within the glass wardrobe is highlighted with LED strips for a luxury infusion. The opposite side features an enclosed grey wardrobe, adding monochromatic depth.

The en-suite bathroom achieves an exclusive, hotel-like vibe. The use of wood and grey tiles emphasizes a harmonious texture contrast, and the bathtub is positioned near the window to celebrate soft natural daylight, adding comfort in the tropical climate.
Secondary Bedroom: Cozy Guest Quarters
The guest bedroom provides a cozy and comfortable atmosphere through the use of warm-toned wall paint and furniture. The white bed sheet maintains a clean, minimalist environment, ensuring a pleasant stay for visitors.
