This renovation project overcame the challenges of limited space and a set budget to deliver a highly functional and aesthetically pleasing HDB interior. The design successfully integrates modern elements with tailored spatial solutions, prioritizing comfort and safety for every resident.
Living: Modern Focus and Visual Clarity
The living room is defined by a modern and relaxed atmosphere. A black TV feature wall, decorated with a fluted panel, serves as a strong focal point, enhancing the room’s contemporary feel. Light beige wall paint complements the space naturally, optimizing ambient light and improving visual clarity throughout the area.
Bedrooms: Personalized Pastel Comfort
The bedrooms adopt a different pastel color approach to visualize a warm and inviting ‘home’ environment for various occupants:
- Elderly Bedroom: A green pastel palette is curated for elderly daily use. The accompanying bathroom is meticulously designed to ease circulation flow, offering ample walking space for comfort, and features a wide door to allow good reachability and clear visual security.
- Secondary Bedroom: Features a soft blue featured wall that cleverly integrates a brilliant storage compartment design. Due to limited space, a platform bed design was proposed, with LED strips along the base to improve the visual experience and stylishly replace bulky nightstands.
Kitchen: Sanctuary of Functionality
The kitchen serves as a modern sanctuary, emphasizing mindfulness and functionality. A light color scheme dominates, creating a clean, organized look. A cleverly hidden table is provided, offering an extra working station to utilize the space to its fullest potential. A white countertop maintains sophistication and matches the overall serene mood of the kitchen.
Bathroom: Neatness and Tranquil Texture
The general bathroom design showcases a neat and clean environment, cocooned in softness and reminiscent of an urban lifestyle. Textured surface tiles are proposed to create a comfortable and tranquil space, promoting a serene experience throughout the day.
