Eco Spring – Warm Harmony and Family Efficiency

This Double Storey Semi D in Eco Spring is designed as a warm, inviting family sanctuary, where an open-concept layout promotes interaction and every space is maximized for efficiency. The design is unified by a calming palette of warm wood tones and light creams, emphasizing coziness and seamless functionality.

Living & Dining: Interactive Open Plan

The living area is clearly dedicated to family life, featuring a wide screen TV and a suspended console that offers a spacious, airy environment. A vertical display cabinet on the left provides extra storage and a curated space for hobby item placement. The open-concept design between the living and dining areas significantly improves space reachability and encourages better interaction among family and guests.

A vital design element is the minimal altar cabinet, specifically proposed to accommodate religious routines with ample, discreet storage. The modern look is reinforced by parallel magnetic track lighting along the living ceiling. In the dining area, a wood-color laminate feature wall is complemented by a wall-hanging storage cabinet, with a corner LED strip that makes the space lively and welcoming.

Kitchen: Seamless Workflow

The transition from the dining to the kitchen area is smoothly managed by an aluminum glass door. The kitchen itself is a hub of efficiency, featuring cabinets on both sides and a central island to allow for a smooth circulation flow.

By integrating both wet and dry kitchen functions within the same space, food preparation workflow is optimized. The combination of wood and light cream color cabinets enhances the inviting, “home-like” mood, further supported by wood-texture tiles chosen to match the overall aesthetic.

Study Area: Focused Functionality

A practical and minimal study area is introduced in the family living zone, defined by a semi-detached table in a dark tone wood color. Ample open and closed storage ensures home office tools are organized, highly reachable, and conducive to focused work.

Master Bedroom: A Harmonious Retreat

The master bedroom is conceived as a luxurious and relaxing atmosphere. The design is centered around the walk-in wardrobe area, which is discreetly entered through a seamless hidden door that forms part of the feature wall. This feature wall, primarily in modern white with the hidden door, flows into the dressing table area via a coordinating wood color along the wall. The bedhead is curated with wood laminate backing and vertical groove lines, while integrated LED strips enhance the relaxing and calm environment. Storage is maximized through a white cabinet with a marble-texture open slot near the bed, providing convenient bedside storage and display.

Secondary Bedrooms: Personalized Growth

To cater to the distinct needs of the children, different design approaches were introduced:

  • Son’s Bedroom: Features a modern look with a half-height bedhead and platform bed, both illuminated with LED strips to create a floating visual effect. A side study table with overhead shelves makes the room highly “homework-friendly.”
  • Daughter’s Bedroom: Is designed with a sophisticated combination of grey and bright orange to achieve a mature yet fun aesthetic. A partition wall upon entry enhances privacy and defines the personal territory. A grey study table is optimally placed close to the window for natural light, complete with drawer and open display storage.
